The Asante Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene has gone live on Facebook to showcase his newly constructed small poultry facility, highlighting government efforts to promote agribusiness and youth empowerment in the Ashanti Region.

The live broadcast, streamed about 15 minutes ago, comes ahead of the official launch of the Nkokonkititi Program, scheduled for tomorrow, November 12, 2025, at 12 p.m. at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Ghana.
According to the Minister, the poultry project forms part of broader government initiatives aimed at supporting local farmers, enhancing food security, and encouraging self-sustaining agricultural ventures. He explained that such facilities will serve as demonstration sites to inspire young people to take up poultry farming and agribusiness as viable sources of livelihood.
The upcoming Nkokonkititi Program is expected to introduce new strategies and support systems to strengthen the agricultural value chain and create jobs across the country.
The Minister’s Facebook Live video has since attracted attention from residents and industry players, many of whom praised the government’s practical approach to empowering farmers and improving agricultural productivity.
